　　师承阿巴斯，年仅二十六岁的法巴夫的导演处女作。故事开始于一对夫妇的深夜争吵，留下小男孩阿夏一人在家，清晨时分，却传来父母车祸身亡的噩耗，只好由以手语沟通的伯父母接他回德黑兰。三人一车的静默，大人该不该把死讯「说」给小孩知道？不倚赖语言、无声胜有声的公路电影，场面调度精彩，更有细腻人性的呈现。

　　影片改编自菲利普·罗斯2008年出版的同名小说，故事围绕上世纪50年代美国一名犹太裔男青年马科斯·梅思纳的苦闷与彷徨展开。

　　Hit man Philip Raven, who's kind to children and cats, kills a blackmailer and is paid off by traitor Willard Gates in "hot" money. Meanwhile, pert entertainer Ellen Graham, girlfriend of police Lieut. Crane (who's after Raven) is enlisted by a Senate committee to help investigate Gates. Raven, seeking Gates for revenge, meets Ellen on the train their relationship gradually evolves from that of killer and potential victim to an uneasy alliance against a common enemy.

　　Aspirations and the lives of several people working at the gigantic Seacoast National Bank Building interweave in various plots. The most notable character is David Dwight, the womanizing bank owner who keeps his estranged wife happy by paying for her extravagant globetrotting. Dwight's long time secretary Sarah yearns for them to divorce so her affair with him can be legitimized. Sarah shows her good side by playing mother to the young innocent Lynn Harding, who she employs as an assistant. Beautiful Miss Harding is relentlessly pursued by extroverted bank teller Tom Sheppard, but he is frustrated when Dwight lures her away with power and wealth. Then Dwight ruins everyone's finances in a successful bid to get full control of his skyscraper by manipulating the company's stock price. Now there doesn't appear to be anyone who can prevent the power monger from taking advantage of the ingenue Harding-or is there?

　　五十岁的装潢建筑公司老板国庆最近有点心烦，妻子安心悄无声息地独自去了岔口村徒步，并要求国庆也去，但这个地方一直是国庆的一个心结，去与不去，让他犹豫不决。国庆与安心是大学同学，毕业结婚时两人约定要在岔口村山村支教，做一对浪漫爱人。但国庆爽约回到城里进入国企工作，安心也只能告别岔口村。之后国庆被迫辞职下海。在商海打拼中，国庆由当年委曲求全的小伙子变成了对下属严格苛刻的老总，并患上了抑郁症，夫妻俩的关系也渐行渐远。庆祝从小就把爸爸国庆当成自己的榜样，并将父母当年誓言要去的岔口村当成了自己心中的圣地，一年前，庆祝独自一人去岔口村徒步，因为救人而意外去世。纪毅是庆祝资助过的一名山区孩子，纪毅年轻气盛，性格耿直，做事积极，但因为急于求成，常常会犯错。国庆在看完庆祝写的推荐信后，留下纪毅当了助理。为了挽回妻子、同时弥补对儿子的亏欠，国庆与纪毅踏上了岔口村的徒步之旅。

　　Bipedalism, or 'two-footed walking', is the story of a painter who grew up in an orphanage and only years later learns the circumstances of his father's disappearance and death. Childhood memories bring the main character back to the past: he buys a house in the suburbs that used to belong to his family. In the basement, he finds his father's archives and scientific research documents on the hybridization of human race with related biological species. Studying the archive material, he unexpectedly finds evidence of efforts to renew the experiments on the remaining hybrid population. The painter then becomes a researcher, and consequently a victim. The basic idea of his father's research was to change, control and influence the process of human evolution - initially connected with eugenics theories of the period before World War II, and now being placed in a context of modern 'biotechnological' expectations by his former colleagues. The main character tries to recreate and realize his father's heritage, who was forced to cooperate with state terror organizations, using the results of his secret research. In a tragic manner, this information turns into the main character's reality, at first forcing him to reappraise his father's values and later driving him to madness.

　　IFC Films拿下弗兰克·格里罗、安迪·麦克道威尔、乔治·洛佩兹主演，Conor Allyn执导的[无人之地](No Man’s Land，暂译)北美发行权。该片讲述美国与墨西哥边境守卫比尔·格里尔和他的儿子杰克逊在巡逻中，意外杀死了一名墨西哥男孩，比尔试图承担所有责任，但被德克萨斯州的骑兵拉米雷斯识破。杰克逊不得不往南逃，他穿越沙漠和山脉，以寻求死者父亲的宽恕。该片将于明年北美上映。
