　　从太空俯瞰地球，我们的地球之美令人心旷神怡。与此同时，我们生活的时代，地球表面正在发生着前所未有的迅速变化，我们目睹着人类行为给地球带来积极/消极的影响。我们试着换一个角度，借助架设在地面、空中、太空中的拍摄设备，用更辽阔的视角讲述地球上的生命故事，以及前所未见的地球家园。

　　这部剧集被称作女性版的《超感警探》（The Mentalist），女主人公以顾问的身份协助当警探的男主人公破案，并且女主人公拥有「过目不忘」的超常能力（但不是超能力）。
　　超忆症（hyperthymesia）是一种极为罕见的医学异象，患者可以记住任何东西。据统计，整个美国只有六人患有这种症状，女主人公Carrie Wells（Poppy Montgomery扮演）就是其中之一。对别人来说，Carrie就像是一个谜。她曾当过侦探，并以一种超常的能力而闻名业界－－超忆症。她能记住任何地点、任何人、任何谈话的细节。也可以用一个词来形容：过目不忘。这对她来说既是天赋，也是诅咒－－生命中每一次欢笑和每一次心碎同时烙印在她脑海中，成为永恒的记忆。
　　这并不是说她记忆力超强，只是她不能忘记。除了一件事：多年前她妹妹的谋杀案。与这起案件有关的任何细节，她竟然都想不起来了。Carrie试图将过去彻底抛在脑后，但与前男友兼前搭档、纽约市警察局命案侦探Al Burns（Dylan Walsh扮演）的重逢却改变了一切。Al请求Carrie协助他侦破一起奇怪的谋杀案，Carrie不忍拒绝。Al的队友包括：得力助手Mike Costello侦探（Michael Gaston扮演）；刚刚加盟的初级侦探Roe Saunders（Kevin Rankin扮演）；时髦且机敏的女侦探Nina Inara（Daya Vaidya扮演）。

　　A Bit of Fry Laurie was a British television sketch comedy show, starring and written by Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, broadcast by the BBC between 1989 and 1995. Running for four series, it totalled 26 episodes (including a 35 minute special in 1987).
