The second series, Ben Harper, husband and father to three different and often difficult children has spent his working life as a dentist. Just as well as most of his life seems rather like pulling teeth. His wife Susan is usually busy showing foreign tourists around London, a place she knows much better than her own kitchen. Showtime已经大方地给出了该剧的第七季预订, 可惜的是，在第六季拍摄中，该剧的人气演员【彼得·费辛利Peter Facinelli】扮演Dr.Fitch Cooper提出希望结束合约，剧组也点头了，所以在第七季中他将不再作为常规出现。
