血玫瑰

　　羞涩内向的女高中生桥本登美惠（宫崎葵 饰）母亲早逝，十年来她与父亲和彦（国村隼 饰）相依为命。登美惠因性格原因在学校没有朋友，还经常受到欺负，她只能躲在自己的世界里，幻想着某一天成为著名的小说家。
　　一个转学生的到来改变了登美惠的生活。她叫富江（安藤希 饰），神秘、美丽，具有令人无法拒绝的魅力。个性开朗的富江很快和登美惠成为好朋友。在朋友的邀请下，富江来到登美惠的家中做客，然而和彦却为富江的容貌所震惊。因为她竟和自己当年的初恋情人长的一模一样……

　　这部姬情恐怖喜剧是一个关于依赖共生关系的寓言：玛雅曾经是一个演员，现在靠在当地购物中心和图书馆重演她以前的一个角色为生。一天，她与来自伦敦的犹太裔年轻学者莉亚一见钟情。当莉亚突然患上癫痫、身体越发衰弱，玛雅决定跟随女友回到伦敦。莉亚的母亲查娜刚好住在她们楼下，她是一个霸道而神秘的女人，玛雅试图和她搞好关系，但不见成效。随着玛雅注意到楼里出现的奇怪现象，她怀疑查娜的秘密可能比预想的要黑暗得多——而她最爱的莉亚可能正背负着最大的秘密。

　　本片分为5个故事：《索命棕榈祭》为了逃避法律责任，母亲将儿子送到偏远的寺庙当苦行僧。少年跟随师傅们来到一个山村，师傅向其讲述了当地用棕榈祭台祭祀饿鬼的风俗。少年本不以为然，最终却发现师傅言之凿凿；《同房鬼病人》青年因车祸骨折，不得已被安置在一间多人病房养伤。不过病房内只有两人，除他之外还有一个脑死亡的老人。夜幕降临，老人竟然起身向青年袭来；《亡命背包客》一对来自日本的青春男女行至泰国境内，他们拦下一辆闷罐卡车。行至半路，车厢后传来连续的敲击声，噩梦就此降临；《亡魂二手车》某二手车行女老板，为了盈利经常将出过车祸的汽车翻新后卖给别人。某晚，她的儿子小德在车行玩耍时失踪，诡异恐怖的事情相继发生；《惊魂鬼片场》一个摄制组正在拍《连体阴2》，扮演女鬼的小根妹突然昏倒在片场，工作人员手忙脚乱将其送到医院。正当摄制组担心进度时，小根妹又重返片场。

　　Constantly on the hunt and suffering from hallucinations that drive his violent nature, an unnamed man is capturing women and savagely beating them to death. Meanwhile, a woman is luring men into a violent end, by way of her knife. Driven by the same force to make the opposite sex suffer, the killers’ fates intertwine. The two must face off in a battle to the death, in which they are forced to reveal the horrible truth behind their addiction to murder.
　　“Brutal” takes an interesting approach to its visuals, drawing heavy influence from Western “Grindhouse” films, using a filter to make the footage appear grainy, damaged, and with light and color fluctuations. Unfortunately, the visual styling ends up feeling misguided, as other than applying the filter it does not imitate any other aspects of the “Grindhouse” genre. Despite trying to dirty up the film, it is apparent it was shot on digital. The cinematography is also a step above most “Grindhouse” productions, with Takashi Hirose proving he has talent behind the camera. Exterior shots to those taking place in small spaces are all competently framed, lit, and transition well. The decision to add an effect on top of the work hurts the film’s imagery and even gives a sense of desperation to try to capture a certain type of nostalgia with the audience, instead of relying on its own strengths. It is unfortunate when one creative choice can hurt a production so much.
　　The story of “Brutal” is simple but effective, it does attempt some sort of social commentary about the violent nature of men and women, but it does not offer enough depth into the subject to justify the amount of violence on display. The film does end on a strong note with an interesting twist, with a reveal that is bound to gross some out, while giving others a chuckle. In spite of its simple nature, those who enjoy films that make them somewhat uncomfortable and enjoy the challenge of getting through some ultra-violence, “Brutal” poses a fun and entertaining challenge in that regard.

　　In seventeenth century England Lord Whitman wages unending war on what he sees as the ever-present scourge of witchcraft, and many local villagers have suffered at his hands. But one victim uses her occult powers to curse his family, enlisting unknowing help from one of the household.

　　《电话》骨折女孩侑真（李彩英 饰）百无聊赖待在家中养伤，这天她偶然收到一个镜子的快递，之后通过手机和某个陌生男子聊天。聊兴正酣，她给对方发去一张自己的照片，而对方则回过来一模一样的照片，并声称就在她的身边。
　　《奶奶》爸爸妈妈赶着去上班，而每天都准时过来照看孙子楠楠的奶奶却没出现。无奈之下，爸爸只得让楠楠待在粉笔画的圈子里不准出去。少顷，没有影子的奶奶来了，领着孙子回到自己家中。
　　《电影》某剧组正拍摄名为《冥国1932》的鬼片。傲慢的女主角珍妮乱发脾气，财大气粗的制片颐指气使。正式拍摄时，饰演女鬼的女孩允儿声称看到鬼影而吓晕。片场鬼影幢幢，人人胆战心惊。

　　The world has been ravaged by vampires. A group of survivors band together to search for loved ones who may be alive, dead or something in between, eventually taking shelter in what may be the only safe hideout left to them. But well defended hideouts have a way of becoming prisons. And prisons aren't the safest place to be when your friends can turn on you at any time.

　　肖恩（西蒙·佩吉 Simon Pegg 饰）事业不如意，爱情也不怎么顺心。认识了一帮同样游手好闲的朋友，整天和他们厮混，包括皮特，和只会打机和讨人厌的艾德。难得肖恩为了女朋友振作一次，却遭到同事嘲笑，女友也不能会意，肖恩只有继续和朋友醉酒纵乐。
　　但这天整个城市却有了翻天覆地的变化。僵尸入侵了，只要是被他们咬到的人，都会随之变成僵尸。而肖恩正和艾德在酒吧里豪饮，却发现陷入僵尸的重重包围中。现在肖恩必须拿出英雄气概，去捍卫家人朋友。

　　在一次登山运动中，彼得的父亲为了让他成功获救，毅然选择割断绳索，坠崖身亡。由于内心的痛苦阴影，彼得（克里斯·奥唐纳饰）放弃了登山事业，并由此与同是登山运动员的妹妹不欢而散。
　　妹妹在有一次挑战喜马拉雅山脉西麓高耸入云的K2峰时遇险，全队困在高峰上的岩洞里。由于食物与药物的紧缺，他们的生命岌岌可危。为了营救妹妹，彼得不惜生命危险，再次登上喜马拉雅山，展开与时间的竞赛和对自然极限的挑战。
