　　赵家庄村民大勇在回家的路上救了受伤的三位八路军，日本宪兵队来到村里悬赏抓捕八路军，村民将八路军藏于家中。村民经常会送些粮食给八路军同志，汉奸王保长与王三见到血迹，通知汉奸翻译赵二带着宪兵队小队长山本太郎再次到村子里威胁村民，将其逐一杀害，施加压力。大勇在人群中心急如焚，眼看着心爱的桂英与无辜村民要被杀害，便站出来将八路军藏身之地说了出来。也因此成了全村村民与妇孺眼里的汉奸。八路军被抓到日本大营遭受酷刑，内心煎熬的大勇下定决心牺牲自己也要背着炸药救出他们……被救出的八路军们将事情经过告诉了村民，大家这才知道是误会，赶来的游击队在爆炸后及时赶到，而大勇的命运仍是一个谜……
