　　故事发生在二战期间，15年来，罗杰·温斯坦利一直被一个令人不安、反复出现的梦境所困扰：他被邀请到熟人的房子里过夜，那里潜伏着看不见的恐怖，而梦中的人物似乎在真实的时间里老去。当被邀请去可怕的“塔楼上的房间”过夜成为现实时，噩梦和清醒的生活似乎终于撞在了一起……

　　英国ITV开始根据英国女作家Val McDermid的破案小说Dr.Tony Hill中的故事"Mermaids Singing"和"Shadows Rising"改编的英国悬疑破案剧集。之后又由其他人续写，后来在第四季度第二集"Torment"又改编自Val McDermid的Dr.Tony Hill中的故事"The Torment of Others"。
　　Dr. Tony Hill 这个角色是个大学里面的法庭心理学家，他一起与一位非常干练的女刑事探员Carol Jordan 合作破了一个又一个非常棘手的悬疑案件！

迈克尔·C·豪尔（Michael C. Hall）将回归Showtime电视台的《嗜血法医》，并在第七季中继续饰演拥有道德准则的连环杀手德克斯特·摩根（Dexter Morgan）。另外，珍妮弗·卡彭特（Jennifer Carpenter）、德斯蒙德·哈林顿（Desmond Harrington）、C·S·李（C.S. Lee）, 劳伦·维勒兹（Lauren Vélez）、 大卫·萨亚斯（David Zayas）以及詹姆斯·瑞马尔（James Remar）等人也将悉数回归。

　　When the pandemic starts, Dona Isadir doesn't think twice about renting out her apartment in Cachambi, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, so she can be closer to her family. Emotionally and physically wrecked, Joseph reunites with an incredulous Anna (Helen Behan, This is England ྔ and ྖ), the sister he hasn't seen since childhood. Anna persuades her wary husband Michael (Frank Laverty Michael Collins) to let Joseph stay and give him work in the family-owned building company. There, Joseph is forced to directly confront the demons of his past when he comes face to face with Craigy (Mark O'Halloran), a shadowy figure who is dogged by dark rumors, and who won't leave Joseph alone.
